Jesus is greater than Adam? Yep. His death and resurrection overcome all the effects of Adam's sin. Adam's sin brought death to all mankind; Jesus' work causes all to have immortal life. Romans 5:18 - "Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men" (ESV). 1 Corinthians 15:22 - "For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified" (Concordant Literal New Testament). Believe it!

"Would you punish your children forever?"

"Eternal punishment!" It sounds so harsh, and for sohhhhhhhhhh lonnnnng!

Is that really part of God's plan for His children, the very ones He knit together in the womb? No.

Despite what OrthoBox Christianity may tell you (with multiple Bible versions in tow), it's just not true. They lie (and so do their multiple Bible versions). Don't believe the lie. Let your own instincts help you on this one. You wouldn't punish your own children forever, and neither will God, Whose love far exceeds yours. And, good Scripture translations teach this. God's judgments, though very real, are not eternal (or everlasting).

God WINS Hearts with mercy! Scripture tells us in Micah 7 that He delights in one thing. He delights to display His mercy!

Thanks for your comment, Mike. Yes, mercy is a big deal to God, so big that He'll give it to all, "For God locks up all together in stubbornness, that He should be merciful to all." (Romans 11:32)
