Jesus is greater than Adam? Yep. His death and resurrection overcome all the effects of Adam's sin. Adam's sin brought death to all mankind; Jesus' work causes all to have immortal life. Romans 5:18 - "Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men" (ESV). 1 Corinthians 15:22 - "For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified" (Concordant Literal New Testament). Believe it!

Demons and Eternal Torment
Torment, in judgment, of any of God's creatures is limited in duration. It is limited because torment and judgment are not God's intended final goal for any of His creatures. They are a MEANS to the true goal: the reconciliation of all by the death and resurrection of Jesus. Your pastor may not be teaching you this great truth, but God does through His Scriptures. He even uses demons at times to reveal truth.
